The Secure Message Center in Online Banking provides a secure channel to communicate with the Credit Union.
Inquiries sent to the Credit Union via e-mail are not secure, because they may pass through unsecured e-mail servers as they travel across the Internet. Any personal information (such as your Social Security Number, BFSFCU member number, or credit card number) sent via e-mail could be captured by an identity thief.
The Secure Message Center provides a safer alternative for sending personal information to the Credit Union, first by verifying your identity through the Online Banking login, and second by passing your inquiry only through BFSFCU's secure servers directly to a BFSFCU representative.
Protect your personal information by using the Secure Message Center whenever you have an account-related question, or when you wish to include private information in your inquiry. |
