The results of the election for the open seats on the Board of Directors were announced at the 60th Annual Meeting of the Credit Union on Thursday, April 5th.
Elections for three open seats for the Credit Union's Board of Directors were held during the month of March. Board President George W. West was presented with the official results of the election at the Annual Meeting.
The Board was pleased to announce that the three candidates receiving the highest number of votes, and thus elected to serve, were:
- Kenneth Miranda
- Tom Tsui
- Carl-Johan Lindgren
In accordance with the Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union Bylaws, members are elected to the Board of Directors by ballot. All members of the Credit Union at least 16 years of age are eligible to vote in Board Elections.
New for election year 2007 was the option for voting members to cast ballots online, as an alternative to the traditional paper ballot. Online ballots accounted for approximately one quarter of all votes cast.
Many thanks to all of the candidates who stood for election, and to all of the Credit Union members who participated in the voting process. |
