You may arrange for automatic deductions from your Credit Union Checking account(s) for regular monthly payments to participating organizations such as mortgage holders, insurance companies or other financial institutions. These types of deductions can only be originated by the participating/receiving firm.
To arrange for pre-authorized payments, you must work directly with the institution that will withdraw the payment from your account. They will provide you with the necessary forms. You will need to provide them with the following information:
- Our name: Bank-Fund Staff FCU
- Our location: Washington, DC, USA
- Our ABA Number: 2540-7417-0 (also referred to as a "Routing & Transit" or "Routing" number)
- Your name
- Your Credit Union Account (Member) Number
- Your Credit Union Account Type (Checking, Savings, etc.)
Please note: when specifying your account (member) number, only include the numeric digits. Including your account suffix (ie S8) in the account number field may cause processing problems with the initiating financial institution.
