Guard your checking account with SafetyLink Overdraft Protection. This free service covers checks and electronically debited (“ACH”) items that are presented against insufficient funds.
With SafetyLink, available funds from one of your savings accounts1 can be transferred up to 6 times per month2 to cover checking account balance “shortfalls.”
To activate SafetyLink on your checking account, simply log on to Online Banking, and click "SafetyLink" from the Accounts Menu. Or download this printable enrollment form. You will be notified when your SafetyLink Overdraft Protection has been activated.
1 Share Certificate, IRA and Home Equity Line of Credit accounts are ineligible to serve as SafetyLinks.
2 Under federal law, the number of monthly transactions from certain savings accounts may be limited. Please refer to your BFSFCU Account Agreements and Disclosures for additional terms and conditions.
