Share Certificate Accounts (SCAs) are fixed-rate, fixed-term investment accounts that combine competitive returns with the security of a guaranteed investment.
Open a share certificate account with a minimum balance of $1000. Choose from a variety of investment terms ranging from 91 days to 5 years.
Dividends on Share Certificate Accounts of six months or less are calculated and paid at maturity.
Dividends on Share Certificate Accounts with maturities of more than six months are calculated, paid, and compounded quarterly.
Withdrawal of any principal before the maturity date of the SCA will result in a penalty. Review your Share Certificate Account disclosure for further details on penalties for early withdrawals.
