We have redesigned our web site to provide our members an enhanced online experience. By integrating several new style elements, simplifying the site navigation and menu structure, and employing state-of-the-art Web 2.0 technologies, we have made BFSFCU.org easier to navigate and more functional.

Please note that the search function will not be fully indexed for at least 24-48 hours. During that time, many search queries may result in a "page not found" error. We appreciate your patience while Google indexes our new site.

Wider Site Layout

Previously, our site was optimized for browsing at 800 pixels wide. When we launched in 2006, this was the industry standard. Our new site is optimized for screen resolutions set to 1024 pixels in width. Not only is this the current industry standard, but we have noticed that overwhelmingly, visitors to our site have widescreen monitors and higher resolutions. Our additional width allows us to provide you more content with less vertical scrolling.

New Main Navigation Menu

We have simplified our main menu to help our visitors find the content they are looking for faster, by dividing the site into the three functional areas that our visitors most use:

• Products & Services contains information about our product and service offerings
  
• Become a Member provides information on joining the Credit Union
  
• Resource Center is filled with financial education tools and resources designed specifically for our members

By grouping related content under these three functional areas, we have made it much easier for you to find the information most relevant to your needs.

Looking for something specific?
Several items have found new homes at BFSFCU.org. Here are some of the pages affected:

• Pre-paid student card is now under Products & Services > Checking & Savings > Youth Accounts
• Young Savers Share Certificate is now under Products & Services > Checking & Savings > Youth Accounts
• Branch Services is a new menu category that contains information on direct deposit, travelers cheques and gift cheques, notary and signature guarantee services, safetylink overdraft protection, and credit card autopay.
• Locations & Hours is part of the About Us menu.
• Verified by Visa is now located under the WebSecure section of our Resource Center

Our new site incorporates a wealth of financial education tools and resources. We are particularly proud of the Home & Family Finance Resource Center, which is an award-winning collection of financial education content including current news, informational articles, and videos.
