COVID-19 (coronavirus) Update as of April 7, 2020

Our 1725 I Street NW location remains open to assist members with lending needs and pressing account transactions from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (appointments are highly recommended). Due to limited access at sponsor group facilities and to protect our members and staff, the Credit Union branches at MC, IMF, and IFC are temporarily closed.

We encourage the use of Digital Banking, Telephone Banking, and the Call Center which have full access and functionality to support members.

2020 Annual Meeting and Election

2020 Board of Directors Election Results

BFSFCU's 73rd Annual Meeting was held on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at 3:00 PM via Audio Conference. At the meeting, the results of the Credit Union's 2020 election for the Board of Directors were announced.

The three candidates who received the highest number of votes were elected to three-year terms. The total number of ballots received was 5,188, with 2,688 received electronically. The results are as follows:

•   Pamela O’ Connell – 3,440
•   Paolo Martelli – 1,755
•   Patricio J. Salgado – 1,568

Election Candidates 2020

In accordance with the Bylaws, members are elected to the Board of Directors by ballot. All members of the Credit Union who have established membership by December 31, 2019, and are at least 16 years old are eligible to vote. Ballots were counted prior to the 73rd Annual Meeting and the results were announced at that meeting.
