The Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run will take place on September 12, 2021 – be a part of it.
The Cherry Blossom run is coming back to the streets of Washington, D.C. in 2021.
This event raises funds for the Children’s Miracle Network, which in turn helps over 17 million kids annually in 170 Children’s Hospitals nationwide. Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union is proud to be among the credit unions that are title sponsors of this world-class road race.
As a proud sponsor of the Cherry Blossom Run, BFSFCU has a limited number of guaranteed entries for those interested.
The registration to participate in BFSFCU’s drawing has closed and the winners were notified by email on July 19, 2021.

The ten mile race starts on 15th Street, next to the Washington Monument. Elite runners start at 7:18 AM. The general race starts at 7:30 AM. The course will only be open until 10:18 AM.
If you feel that you cannot complete the course in this time limit, we encourage you to participate in the 5K fun run/walk.
In addition to the ten mile run, a 5K fun run/walk will take place at 9 AM following the start of the ten mile race. The 5K run/walk will start at Independence Ave., near the Sylvan Theater. No dogs, strollers, skates or headphones are allowed in the 5K. The 5K is limited to individuals who have preregistered, so you must register for the event to participate.
