We are very excited to share that earned points will vary based on category. The number of points earned per dollar spent is:
5 points for airline purchases
3 points for hotels, motels, Air BnB/VRBO
3 points for restaurants
2 points for car rentals
1 point for all other 

Our rewards program offers a competitive suite of redemptions allowing you to choose between cashback, real-time redemptions, travel, merchandise, charitable giving, etc. Every dollar spent earns points that may be redeemed in the manner that fits your lifestyle.

Consideration was given to offering airport lounge access. We focused instead on boosting the points earned to deliver a more rewarding program.

When promotions are offered extra points may be achieved at that time.

Each point earned must be redeemed within five years.

The categories are already defined. The points earned per category are for all Beyond Visa Signature cardholders and do not require registration or customization.

Points are earned for each dollar spent for purchases. (Cash advances and Balance Transfers do not earn points).

Purchases associated with the Merchant Category Codes (MCC) listed below will earn points according to the category.
Qualifying Airline purchases are associated with these qualifying Merchant Category Codes:  3000-3302, 4511
Qualifying Hotel, Motel, Air BnB/VRBO purchases are associated with these qualifying Merchant Category Codes:  3501-3838, 7011
Qualifying Restaurant purchases are associated with these qualifying Merchant Category Codes:  5812-5814
Qualifying Car Rental purchases are associated with these qualifying Merchant Category Codes:  3351-3441, 7512

Purchases made through travel agencies typically come in under Merchant Category Codes (MCC) 4722 which does not qualify for points multiplier. Only purchases associated with the following MCCs will earn points according to the category: 

Qualifying Airline purchases are associated with these qualifying Merchant Category Codes:  3000-3302, 4511
Qualifying Hotel, Motel, Air BnB/VRBO purchases are associated with these qualifying Merchant Category Codes:  3501-3838, 7011
Qualifying Restaurant purchases are associated with these qualifying Merchant Category Codes:  5812-5814
Qualifying Car Rental purchases are associated with these qualifying Merchant Category Codes:  3351-3441, 7512
