A Better Way to Move Money
is Here
On May 12, 2026, we launched an enhanced wire services
experience, offering you a simpler and more intuitive solution to move money.
Some of the new features include:
Dynamic Wire Instructions
Data collection fields now automatically adjust to show the specific information
needed. Fields for SWIFT and IBAN codes and some address fields will automatically validate
appropriate formatting.
Real-Time Tracking
You can now view the BankFund processing status of your wire transactions via
Digital Banking.
Additional Security
Built-in multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of protection for wire transactions.
“Beneficiaries” Renamed “Recipients”
A clearer term that better reflects how you refer to the
person receiving the wire transfer.
Lower International Wire Fees
All outgoing Non-USD International wires will be processed as
Priority Payments for only $10.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I access the
enhanced wire services experience?
The enhanced wire services experience continues to be accessible through Digital Banking >Transfers & Payments > eWires or by visiting a branch location.
Will I need to set up my
beneficiaries (recipients) again?
Yes, to support enhanced security requirements, the first time you send a wire with the new service, you will be prompted to enter recipient details – even for recipients (formerly referred to as beneficiaries) you have used before.
Will I be able to
schedule future wire transfers?
Yes, individual wires can be scheduled to occur on a future date. However, recurring wires scheduling – any wires that would have been set to automatically process every month for at least two months, or with no defined end date – are no longer available.
I’m sending a wire to
Mexico, do I need to use the CLABE number?
Yes, if you’re sending funds to a Mexican bank account, you will typically need the recipient’s CLABE
number. When creating a recipient in Digital Banking, type the CLABE number in the account
number box.
A CLABE is an 18-digit banking number used in Mexico to identify the
receiving bank, branch, and account for electronic transfers. It helps ensure the money is routed
correctly.
