Set up direct deposit with your IMF or World Bank payroll.
Apply for a BankFund Credit Card. This will help you build Credit History.
Refer your family and household members
Make sure your family members are ready for life in the U.S. too. Family and household
members are also eligible for a BankFund membership. Help them follow the same steps to
open their BankFund Membership or refer them now and we will send them the instructions!

I work at a country office, can I
become a member?
Yes! As an employee of our sponsor groups you are welcome to open your BankFund Membership. You can find more information on our eligibility page.
Since I am moving to the United
States, my address will change. Can I open my account with my current address and change it
later?
Of course! All you need to do is log in to Digital Banking and update your address in Profile.
Can I get a Debit Card with my
account?
Yes, when opening an account, just mark on the form you will need a Debit Card and we will mail it to the address on file.
